Return/Exchange of Items in Proper Quality
Customers who have purchased an item from Atelier 16 or have received a gift purchased from Atelier 16 are entitled to return or exchange the purchased item within 14 days upon the acquisition of such item. The return or exchange of an item will be processed in case the item is unused and in the original packaging and the customer presents the receipt given by Atelier 16 stating the purchase of the item. As such a receipt may be deemed payment confirmation.
Customers returning or exchanging an item purchased by themselves will be refunded on their original purchasing method. Refunds will be issued once the return has been processed. Refunding will be done per the exchange rate of Euro, which was effective on purchase day. Please note that the refunding may take some time. Hence, in case of exchanging a purchased item the purchase of the replacing item shall be executed in the way the original purchase was done.
Customers returning or exchanging a gift received from someone else will be refunded in the form of Atelier 16 store credit. The store credit will be credited to the customer’s account once the return or exchange has been processed properly and can be redeemed within 6 months. Event guests will not be notified if their gift is retained in the form of Atelier 16 store credit. We will keep track of the gift they originally purchased in the client’s Thank You Manager so you can still send an appropriate thank you note. Atelier 16 store credit is effective within 6 months and can be used for any physical product or experience that Atelier 16 sells prior to expiry date of the credit. Atelier 16 store credit cannot be redeemed for cash or be applied toward items purchased from another website, cash gifts or Honeymoon Funds. In addition, Atelier 16 store credits cannot be retroactively applied to past orders.
Exchange of Damaged Items
In case of damaged item being delivered the customer is entitled to exchange the item. For this purpose the customer shall provide Atelier 16 with a photo of the item broken in the box it arrived in. Claims will only be accepted up to within 48 hours after the package’s arrival.
